Didja Know?
This issue does not have an individual title. I've chosen the
title
"Resistance is Futile" as it is a phrase commonly said by the
Borg.
Didja Notice?
The "What has come before" paragraph on the inside front
cover, refers to Captain Terrell as "Clark" Terrell
instead of the "Craig" name used in
"New Frontiers", so I guess
that earlier name
was in error (unless Sulu's use of "Craig" again in issue #6,
"Hila", sets the name back again!).
"Clark" was the name of the Captain Terrell who first
appeared in the original timeline in Star
Trek: The Wrath of Khan.
The Romulan ships seen battling the Borg sphere on page 1
appear to be D'deridex-class warbirds.
But, in the Prime universe, the D'deridex-class
ships were not seen until
the 24th Century, in ST: TNG. However, these types of ships
were seen in the Kelvin Timeline earlier in
"Legacy of Spock" Part 2.
Page 7 opens on the planet Quirina VI in the Romulan Empire.
This the first appearance of this world in ST.
On page 7, a Romulan officer says the enemy ship carved up
the Romulan ships it crossed like porcris at the slaughter.
This appears to be the first mention of porcris, presumably
an animal slaughtered for meat in the Romulan Empire.
