Didja Notice?
Eight Ball arrives at Saint George's Orphanage looking for
Hope. Saint George's appears to be a fictitious orphanage.
Charon remarks that Saint George is supposed to have slain a
dragon. This relates to an 11th Century legend about George
of Lydda, a Roman soldier who is one of the most venerated
saints and martyrs of Christianity.
On page 12 of the story, Link tells Hope they're going to
fly just like Peter Pan. Peter Pan is a character in the
1911 fantasy novel Peter and Wendy by J.M. Barrie
about a boy who can fly.
