Notes from the Terminator chronology

This story takes place during the future war in 2029 in the Salvation timeline.

Didja Notice?

2003: On pages 7-8, the three Terminators who have successfully protected Parnell's life and placed him in cryogenic storage for Skynet's use in the future, eliminate their potential discovery in the current time by walking into the sea. "The Final Battle" Part 10 reveals they have walked into the Gulf of Mexico. This makes sense, as Houston, where the majority of the 2003 storyline of the mini-series takes place, lies just miles from the Gulf.

2029: On page 16, panel 3, the Resistance member has a shoulder patch on his jacket similar to the Jolly Roger, but appears to feature a Terminator skull with two rifles crossed behind it.

2029: Page 21 reveals that one of John's favorite movies when he was a kid was The Wizard of Oz. This is, of course, a reference to the 1939 film version of The Wizard of Oz, based on the 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.
