Officer Castro's showdown with the T-800.

Notes from the Terminator chronology

This story takes place over roughly the same time period as the events of The Terminator in 1984.

Didja Know?

Terminator: Sector War was a 4-issue mini-series published by Dark Horse Comics in 2018-2019.

Characters appearing or mentioned in this issue

Officer Lucy Castro

T-800 (sent to the bottom of the sea in this issue)

John Connor (mentioned only)

Sarah Connor (mentioned only)

Didja Notice?

The New York City skyline seen on page 15 is essentially the skyline seen in 1984 (as it should be), including the twin towers of the World Trade Center at the time.

On page 19, Castro muses she'll take the 2/3 to the E train and buy a ticket at Port Authority. These are all references to the subway system and transportation infrastructure of New York and New Jersey.

At the end of this story, the pregnant Castro is planning to head to Los Angeles to meet up with Sarah Connor; "I think we have something to talk about."

Unanswered Questions

Is the T-800 really gone? Castro sends it to the bottom of the ocean under a bulldozer, but it was still functional at the time and the ocean depth near the cliff shore is not great. The Terminator could conceivably extricate itself from the wreckage and climb back to the land.
