Didja Know?

Terminator: Hunters and Killers was a 3-issue mini-series published by Dark Horse Comics.

Didja Notice?

Pavlichenko tells Bandera he thinks she hates Golitsyn because he was once KGB, the murderers of her parents. The KGB was the national security agency of the Soviet Union.

On page 7, the Spetznaz group arrives at Kiril'sk Base. This is probably a reference to the town of Kurilsk on Iturup Island.

The Typhoon- (Russian Akula-) class submarine Korolev is introduced on page 7. The Korolev appears to be a fictitious submarine, though the sub presented here does match the Typhoon-class.

On page 8, Captain Filitov of the Korolev tells his new Spetznaz crewmembers that the sub was upgraded to sodium fast-breeder reactors just before the war. This is an actual type of nuclear reactor, cooled by liquid metallic sodium.

On page 14, Unit Pavlichenko is mistakenly depicted saying "Unit E6D3" instead of "Unit E3D6".

On page 17, panel 1, "Pavlichenko" is mistakenly spelled "Pavichenko".

Page 20 reveals that even the "real" Pavlichenko was just another TS-300, so there are two Pavlichenko TS-300 units operating throughout the mini-series; the human Pavlichenko is never seen.

On page 24, Golitsyn tells Bandera the new security code he set to launch the sub's nuclear missiles is "USSR/KGB". USSR stands for Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the full name of the Soviet Union, which existed from 1922-1991.

The story ends before the Spetznaz fire the Korolev's nuclear missiles, but presumably they do so, aiding in John Connor's forces' victory over Skynet as related by Kyle Reese in The Terminator.
