Notes from the Terminator chronology
This story takes place in 1985.
Didja Notice?
On page 1, the Terminator fixes his damage after breaking
into Allied Engineered Products. There is a real world
company by this name in Dalton, GA, but none in New York
that I can find.
The gash Farrow received to her forehead near the end of the
previous issue ("Enemy
of my Enemy" Part 2) has disappeared in this issue and
subsequent ones even though little time has passed. Probably
just an oversight by artist Jamal Igle, which I can forgive
since his art is excellent throughout the series.
Farrow uses rohypnol to knock out a woman named Irene in her
apartment. Rohypnol is a real world drug used for hypnotic,
sedative, or anticonvulsant purposes. It is also known as a
"date rape" drug.
On page 10 an advertising sign for Old Style on tap is seen
hanging outside the Rose Tavern. Old Style is a real world
beer brand brewed by the Molson-Coors Company. The Rose Tavern
appears to be a fictitious establishment.
Another bar appearing on page 10 is the Mercury Bar. There
are two such locations in New York City, though neither has
the same exterior seen here.
