On page 10, the vehicle the townsfolk use to drive Mal back to the crash site of the Firefly appears to be a variant of an old military Jeep of Earth-That-Was.

 

Tech Agent Mannahatta refers to the Blue Sun Enforcement Database as "Bluey".

 

On page 16, Mal discusses with Inara the time she got the governor on Hera to cut him some slack and also told him what the governor was up to. This was in "Serenity Valley" and "War Crimes", respectively.
