Didja Know?

Battlestar Galactica: Season Zero was a 13-issue mini-series published by Dynamite Entertainment, covering the crew's adventures starting with Commander Adama assigned to the command of the Galactica, two years before the fall of the Colonies.

Characters appearing or mentioned in this story

Dipper (mistakenly referred to as Ripper)

Commander Adama

Lt. Gaeta

Starbuck

Helo

Darja Purat

Christa Nolan

Petty Officer Dualla

Colonel Tigh

Agent Levin

Julian DiMarco (unrevealed until "Hostile Takeover")

Didja Notice?

As in the previous issue ("Loose Cannon"), Petty Officer Dualla is mistakenly referred to as "lieutenant" here; she is not promoted to junior lieutenant until some time during the rag-tag fleet's stay at New Caprica.

On page 14, panel 6, a model sailing ship is seen in the background in Commander Adama's quarters. In episodes of BSG2000, Commander/Admiral Adama is seen building ship models on a few occasions.

The unrevealed benefactor of the Sagittaron terrorists who appears in this issue is revealed to be retired Admiral Julian DiMarco in "Hostile Takeover".

When Agent Levin of Colonial Intelligence assumes command of the Galactica and orders Commander Adama and Colonel Tigh to be held in the brig, he informs Lt. Gaeta that he is now second-in-command. This is temporary, of course.
