Didja Notice?
On page 5, Helo remarks that he didn't think Zarek and the Sag
rebels had the firepower to hit a mining settlement like the one
on Troy. He is referring to Tom Zarek, a political agitator on
Sagittaron and leader of the small, but violent, rebel group
which is referred to as the SFM by Starbuck on page 10 that
seeks
the overthrow of the Colonial-imposed government on Sagittaron.
On page 9, panel 3, Starbuck's hair is mistakenly colored brown.
The Adama cadet on the last page of the issue is presumably Zak
Adama.
The last page of the issue also introduces cadets Peter Vader
and Sharon Valerii. Vader does not appear again so far as I can
tell; his last name is likely a reference to Darth Vader, the
main villain of the Star Wars saga of films, novels,
comics, and TV shows.
Sharon Valerii goes on to become callsign Boomer and is a Number
Eight model humanoid Cylon, though she does not know she is a
Cylon.
