During the flashback scene on page 10, the battlestar Columbia is depicted as looking like the original Galactica from BSG70. The Vipers flown by DiMarco and Adama during this flashback look like a cross between the BSG70 Vipers and the Mark II Vipers largely used aboard the BSG2000 Galactica.

Page 11 reveals that DiMarco's call sign as a pilot was Marksman.

On page 14, DiMarco and Adama use an E.M. pulse to disable the stolen vessel they're pursuing. An electromagnetic pulse can be used to damage or destroy most types of unshielded electronic devices.
